Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a compassionate, skilled nurse to provide care to critically ill pediatric patients within a specialized hospital setting. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and deliver evidence-based care.

The position requires an active RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and at least two years in acute care nursing.

Qualifications

• RN License in State of Practice.
• BLS-Basic Life Support.
• BSN preferred; 2 years of Acute Care Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements the identified plan and coordinates care delivery
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Applies the principles of professional codes of ethics that ensure individual rights in all areas of practice
• Utilizes current evidence-based nursing knowledge, including research findings, to guide and evaluate practice.
• Utilizes current resources related to standards of care, policies and procedures, and patient needs.
