Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge seeks an experienced RN to provide patient care using the nursing process for the designated patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Documentation of care and active interprofessional communication are essential.

Requirements include a Colorado RN license (or multistate) and 3+ years of critical care experience in ED/ICU/PACU, with BLS/CPR within 30 days. No travel is required; floating to ED/ICU/PACU as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process – assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment – for the identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Documents patient care administered. Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care. The delivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license
• Associate Degree, BSN desired
• Must have at least three (3) years of full-time critical care‑type, RN experience in designated areas (ED, ICU, PACU)
• Must maintain current and active licensure, job‑related annual competencies, certifications, and annual education requirements in all assigned areas
• No travel required, floating to ED, ICU, PACU, and other areas as deemed necessary within HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge
