Job summary

CaroMont Health is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse for a full-time evening shift (7a-7:30p) in Gastonia, NC. The role focuses on delivering expert nursing care to CVICU patients and collaborating with the care team to uphold high-quality patient outcomes.

Required NC RN licensure, recent acute care experience preferred, critical care experience strongly preferred, and must hold current BLS/ACLS/PALS as per specialty. Sign-on bonus up to $13,000 offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state).
• Recent acute care experience within the past 3 years preferred.
• Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and/or PALS as required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients in CVICU.
• Collaborate with medical staff and care team to ensure quality patient care.
• Supervise and delegate duties to ancillary personnel as appropriate.

Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• Recent acute care experience within the past 3 years is preferred.
• Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
• Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
• Current BLS, ACLS and/or PALS as required by specialty.
