Job description

The Pediatric/Newborn Home Care RN Clinician 2 is an experienced, capable clinician focused on expanding knowledge and skills. Consistently provides effective direct care to patients in their homes for an assigned caseload, as part of the interdisciplinary team. Oversees care planning and coordination for complex patients. Manages care and implements treatment plans collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members, ensuring compliance with homecare standards and regulatory requirements. Seeks and provides feedback for clinical practice improvement. Assumes a beginning leadership role but seeks mentoring in this process.

Additional duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $82,992.00 - $110,240.00 annually.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia required. Valid Virginia Driver's License required. AHA BLS certification required.
Physical Demands

May include sitting for prolonged periods, standing, traveling, bending/stooping. Requires proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
