Job description

Registered Nurse - Brentwood MD Concierge Medicine

Full-time, $75,000 starting annual salary plus bonus, Brentwood, Tennessee

About Brentwood MD

Brentwood MD is a physician-led concierge family medicine practice built around relationships, proactive care, and a deeply personal member experience.

We serve individuals and families who value access, trust, discretion, and a higher standard of healthcare.

Our team is small, highly collaborative, and committed to delivering care that feels thoughtful, organized, anticipatory, and personal.

We are looking for a team member who wants to join a mission-driven practice where details matter, relationships matter, and follow-through is everything.

Brentwood MD is in an exciting stage of growth. We are not trying to become a large, impersonal healthcare company. We are trying to become the best version of ourselves: the premier independent concierge primary care practice in Nashville.

Our Culture

Our culture matters deeply. Our core values are not decorative. They are how we make decisions, hire, lead, serve, and care for one another.

We are kind . Above all else. To others, and to ourselves.

We are humble . Everyone has an ego. We do not lead with it. The aim is to find what is true, not to be the one who is right.

We are resourceful . Creative and energetic problem solvers.

We are accountable . We own our work, including the parts that went wrong.

51:49 . In every relationship, we give more than we receive. It sounds small until it meets a decision that costs money, time, or the harder answer.

Position Summary

The Clinical RN delivers hands-on nursing care in our Brentwood office and helps ensure every member visit is prepared, personal, and clinically excellent. This nurse performs clinical testing and treatments, prepares members for physician visits, assists with office procedures, and keeps annual physicals and lab reviews moving forward.

Working closely with physicians and RN Care Coordinators, the Clinical RN owns in-office clinical care execution . The ideal candidate combines excellent clinical skills with warmth, sound judgment, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.

Who You Are

You are a strong fit for this role if you are:

  • A clinically confident RN who takes pride in precise, safe, comfortable blood draws, testing, and treatments.
  • A proactive thinker who prepares for the day, anticipates physician and member needs, and sees what needs to be done before being asked.
  • A warm, calm communicator who makes members feel welcomed, listens carefully, and responds thoughtfully to concerns.
  • An organized professional who takes ownership of details and closes the loop without repeated reminders.
  • A resourceful teammate who brings kindness, humility, and accountability to every interaction and welcomes coaching.

What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Perform blood draws and collect, label, process, and prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
  • Perform body composition testing, obtain and document vital signs, and complete EKGs and all in-office point-of-care testing according to practice protocols.
  • Room members for physician visits, update medications and relevant visit information, and ensure the physician has the clinical information needed.
  • Assist physicians with office procedures, including preparing supplies, supporting the member, and providing ordered aftercare instructions.
  • Administer ordered injections, vaccinations, IV therapies, and other nursing treatments within RN scope, demonstrated competency, and practice protocols.
  • Recognize changes in a member’s condition, promptly communicate concerns to the physician, and respond appropriately to urgent clinical needs.
  • Keep exam rooms, clinical equipment, and supplies clean, stocked, organized, and ready; follow infection prevention and testing quality-control procedures.
  • Document assessments, testing, treatments, medications, procedures, and clinically relevant member interactions accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
  • Track when members are due for annual physicals and proactively contact them to schedule the physical and required laboratory appointments.
  • Provide clear preparation instructions for blood draws, testing, and annual physicals.
  • Monitor for completed laboratory results, notify the physician when results are available, and promptly elevate urgent findings according to practice protocols.
  • Schedule members for lab reviews and annual physicals, ensuring necessary results and clinical information are available for the physician.
  • Track outstanding results and unfinished next steps until the appropriate review, appointment, or follow-up is completed.
  • Communicate with members by phone, email, and Spruce with warmth, clarity, discretion, and timely follow-through.
  • Partner with RN Care Coordinators on member needs, sharing clinical updates and making clear handoffs for referrals, outside appointments, and ongoing care coordination.
  • Support prescriptions and refills as directed by the physician and provide occasional clinical care at members’ homes or offices when needed.
  • Protect member privacy and maintain strict HIPAA compliance at all times.

What Success Looks Like

  • Members feel welcomed, heard, and confident in the care they receive.
  • Visits run smoothly because rooms, supplies, testing, and clinical information are prepared.
  • Clinical care and documentation are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Annual physical outreach, lab availability notifications, and review scheduling are completed proactively.
  • Physicians and care coordinators can rely on you to own your responsibilities and communicate clearly when help is needed.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • You share our Core Values: we hire, lead, and review your performance by them.
  • Current Tennessee resident with an active Tennessee RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
  • Emergency room, urgent care, concierge medicine, primary care, or high-touch clinical triage experience preferred.
  • Must be highly skilled in phlebotomy and IVs.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience with electronic health records and comfort using technology / AI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple members, tasks, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to HIPAA.

What We Offer

  • This is a full-time position in our office located in Brentwood, Tennessee.
  • Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST.
  • A 90-day introductory period will be used to evaluate role fit, competency, core values alignment, and performance.
  • Annual starting salary: $75,000 with annual increases and bonus potential.
  • Paid time off available after the 90-day introductory period , beginning with 2 weeks of PTO.
  • 6 paid national holidays.
  • Eligibility for 401(k) after one year of employment and 1,000 hours worked with employer match.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance. Brentwood MD pays 75% of the monthly premium after the first 90 days. We offer a $5,000 stipend if you decline enrollment in our health insurance plan.
  • Disability and life insurance after the first 90 days.
  • 3 sets of clinical uniforms provided.
