Job description

Ensign Services, Inc.’s (ESI) Compliance Department is seeking a Registered Nurse - Compliance Partner. Must be a Registered Nurse with 1+ years of nursing experience in the skilled nursing environment. Primary responsibilities will involve performing clinical compliance audits, conducting internal investigations under the direction of the associate and chief compliance officer, reviewing and analyzing medical records and/or claims to detect possible compliance or quality issues.

Duties

  • Creates and presents regular training on clinical compliance and healthcare topics
  • Performs clinical systems compliance audits
  • Reviews medical records to identify compliance or quality issues and assists in developing corrective action plans
  • Conducts internal investigations related to compliance and clinical issues under supervision
  • Travel required 70% within Texas and surrounding states

Experience/Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility required; 3-5 years preferred
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing skilled nursing
