Job summary

Merced Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Merced, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards under supervision. The RN will assess residents, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Requirements include a Nursing Degree, valid RN license, CPR/BLS, and English proficiency;

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited school or college.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and development of resident care plans.

• Checking vital signs and dressing wounds.
• Passing out medications and assisting with admissions.
• Making rounds with physicians and starting IVs.
• Listening to residents and their families; addressing questions.
