Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process and to maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires leadership in prioritizing, delegating, and evaluating work assignments while ensuring regulatory compliance. The RN will educate patients and families and serve as a resource for existing staff and new employees.

Qualifications

• Must maintain department requirements for continuing education and any specific unit requirements to provide appropriate age specific care.
• Must have effective communication and teaching skills.
• General knowledge of various regulatory and accrediting standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families as resource for staff and new employees.
• Participate in unit training and preceptor activities.
• Coordinate with Nurse Manager and Educator on assignments and compliance.
• Attend daily huddles to align shift coverage and team members.
