Luther Wood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hatboro, PA is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate care team. You will supervise nursing assistants, provide individualized care per each resident’s plan, administer medications, and help residents regain independence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explain procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and calm apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge patient progress.
• Maintain patients’ medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Record nursing needs of patients on care plans for continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients and prepare them for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
