Job summary

Mercy offers RN opportunities where you will apply the Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to deliver compassionate patient care. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality care while upholding patient rights and confidentiality across all interactions.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, plus Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license must be obtained and maintained in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or course completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required based on position/unit (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certs).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
