Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes professional accountability, coordination with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license. Additional unit-specific certifications may be required within a defined timeframe.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure for practice.
• Certifications: BLS and other unit-specific certifications may be required within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and team members.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrate accountability and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.
