AdventHealth Kissimmee seeks a Registered Nurse to join our full-time day shift team. You will provide direct patient care on med-surg units, collaborating with doctors and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Nursing and RN licensure with BLS. Experience in acute care and teamwork-focused care is preferred, in a faith-based community hospital environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• RN licensure required; BLS certification required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred; Med Surg experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
