The role requires Florida RN licensure and BLS, with 1+ year acute care experience preferred; excellent communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating care and advancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or eligibility
• BLS certification required
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and ensure patient safety.
