Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Day-Weekend shift. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate families to promote optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

> Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
> BLS CPR certification required; state licensure per Florida regulations.
>1+ acute care hospital setting preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluate and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and effective communication.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record for all care activities.
