Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to our residents in Louisburg, KS. Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to quality outcomes.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, collaborate with a Charge Nurse and Supervisor, and uphold our policies and standards. RN certification, compassionate demeanor, and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Caring personality and demeanor.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents.
• Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
• Checking all residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
• Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
• Administering professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.
• Completing all Registered Nurse RN required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident’s chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.
• Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adhering to our policies and standards.
