Qualifications

• Required - Associate Degree in Nursing
• Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Required - Registered Nurse (Tennessee)
• Required - Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments accurately and timely.
• Develop a prioritized holistic plan of care based on assessment, outcomes, and current knowledge.
• Safely implement the plan of care, directly or by delegation.
• Evaluate the plan of care on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally with patients, families and health team members.
• Demonstrate professional practice and leadership within the nursing care team.
