Job summary

Journey in Frankfort, KY is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for residents, delivering compassionate, holistic care in a community-focused setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing degree, an active RN license in good standing and CPR certification; long-term care experience is preferred but not required. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
Current CPR certification.
Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Directs daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurse and CNAs per regulations and facility policies.
Follows nursing model to promote holistic resident care.
Ensures policy compliance by nursing personnel.
Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents.
Assesses resident status changes, notifies physician and family, documents accordingly.
Transcribes orders to medical record and carries out orders as written.
