Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a registered nurse to serve as a resource on the night shift. The role involves clinical management, expert nursing practice, and education of staff within a collaborative team at a nationally recognized community hospital in Exeter, NH.

Responsibilities include leading the nursing process, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with administration.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or another compact state.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical Certification within 18 months of hire.
• BSN preferred or within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for clinical management functions on the assigned shift.
• Models excellence in nursing practice using advanced assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process.
• Demonstrates excellence in technical clinical skills.
• Responds to departments requiring emergency and clinical assistance.
• Provides education to staff and acts as a clinical resource.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing issues and health care trends.
• Represents administration on their assigned shift and refers issues to management.
