BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our home health services. You will develop and oversee patient care plans, perform in-home assessments, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• 2–3 years of home health, hospice, or skilled nursing experience.
• Proficient in IV infusions, medications, hydration and TPN.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans with physicians and team.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee regulatory documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team and trainings.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse RN License - Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Clinical Experience - At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise - Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Sales & Business Development Mindset - Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
• CPR Certification
• Leadership & Management - Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
• Care Plan Development - Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management - Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making - Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance (Required)
• Flexibility & Availability - Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Haves:

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience - Familiarity with BrightStar Care's business model is a plus
