BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington and Woburn is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our home health team. This role offers flexible hours, autonomy, and opportunities for leadership, with full-time, part-time, and per-diem options. Salary ranges from $45-$55 per hour based on experience and qualifications, with 20-40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• 2–3 years clinical experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• Proficient in IV infusion therapy.
• Sales and business development mindset to attract and retain clients.
• CPR certification.

• Care plan development to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Experience with quality assurance and risk management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making for staffing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements

Must Haves:

• Active Registered Nurse RN License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Clinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
• CPR Certification
• Leadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
• Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance (Required)
• Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Haves

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care’s business model is a plus
