Job summary

Phaxis is recruiting a Clinical Lead RN in the Waxhaw area to provide hands-on patient care while leading clinical operations. You will triage, coordinate care between providers, educate patients, and support staff to maintain efficient flow.

The ideal candidate has an NC RN license, BLS, at least 1 year of RN experience in outpatient or primary care, and experience with EHR systems. This role emphasizes strong clinical judgment and team leadership.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina with active credentials.
• Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience.
• Outpatient or primary care experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS if required for the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, obtain histories and vital signs, and document in the EHR

• Start IVs, IV fluids, and monitor patient responses
• Provide patient and family education on medications and conditions
• Handle refills, prior authorizations, forms, and electronic orders

An established primary care practice in the Waxhaw area is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead RN to join its team! This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys a combination of hands-on patient care, nurse triage, patient education, care coordination, and clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, obtain histories and vital signs, and document in the EHR
• Coordinate care between patients, providers, and clinical staff
• Administer medications and provider-ordered treatments
• Start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor patient responses
• Provide patient and family education on medications and acute/chronic conditions
• Handle medication refills, prior authorizations, forms, and electronic orders
• Triage patient calls and determine the appropriate level of care
• Respond to urgent clinical situations, including chest pain, fainting, and hypoglycemia
• Support and provide clinical guidance to Medical Assistants
• Assist with emergency response procedures and maintain efficient patient flow

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active North Carolina RN license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS if required for the assigned clinical area
• Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience
• Outpatient or primary care experience preferred
• EHR experience
