Shifts: Full-Time 36 hours/week, 4-9 hour weekday shifts

Responsibilities

Maintain a practice environment reflecting the ANA Code for Nurses, UnityPoint Health's Philosophy of Nursing, and within the Professional Nurse Practice Model, collaborating with other caregivers. Function effectively as a Registered Nurse as defined by Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act. Provide nursing care for patients and families, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.

Qualifications

Education:

Current Iowa license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 6 months of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency. Chemotherapy infusion experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid and current licensure in Iowa. BLS certification required within three months of hire. Department-specific certifications to be completed within one year of hire. Valid driver’s license for work-related driving.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Fluent in English; multicultural sensitivity; basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); patient-focused; critical thinking and independent judgment skills.

Other:

Use of standard equipment necessary for position functions.
