Mercyhealth is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in our Janesville clinic. The role involves assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

You will administer medications, develop care plans, and educate patients and families while supporting safety and quality initiatives. ADN required; BSN preferred; licensure in Wisconsin and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required on hire; BSN preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Other certification(s) per department requirements.

Responsibilities

This role administers medications and treatments, develops individualized care plans, provides patient and family education, and supports patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based nursing practice. **SCHEDULE:** 24-hours per week, part-time **SHIFT:** Days **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.* Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.* Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care* Documents according to standards of care.* Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or clinic policy including patient and family instruction.* Utilizes resources available to teach and support patient and family education.
