Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ortho/Neuro Unit on the evening shift in Janesville, WI. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week onsite, contributing to patient care plans and the nursing process in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires ADN at hire with BSN preferred, RN licensure in the state, and CPR/BLS within 90 days. Additional unit certifications may be required to support patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policy and standard of care.
• Documents according to standards of care and state regulations.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care per physician/policy guidance.
• Participates in department/unit performance improvement activities.
• Provides guidance to other units to support longitudinal plan of care.
• Uses critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate appropriately.
• Participates in nursing continuity programs and peer review processes.
