Job summary

Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, seeks a PCI nurse to support interventional physicians during procedures such as catheterizations, cardioversions, TAVRs, Watchman, and CarioMEMs. The role is 90% telephone triage and 10% potential clinic assistance with patient assessments and orders.

The nurse will provide competent clinical care across the lifespan, facilitate transitions between settings, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to improve quality of care and reduce unnecessary costs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Relevant Experience.
• PA Registered Nurse License.
• NRP Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide PCI nursing support to interventional physicians and assist with procedures (catheterizations, cardioversions, TAVRs, Watchman, CarioMEMs).
• Prioritize telephonic triage and patient education, coordinating care transitions and ensuring efficient clinic workflow.
• Coordinate care delivery with other disciplines to reduce unnecessary utilization and costs across patient populations.
