This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT for Registered Nurse vacancies in the Community Living Center (CLC) at the Erie VA Medical Center and will remain open until 9/30/2025. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be 6/17/2025, with subsequent cut-off dates weekly. The RN is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care to patients and overseeing licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing all elements of the nursing process in direct patient care and supervision.
• Coordinating care focusing on patient transition, education, self-management, and customer satisfaction.
• Considering individual characteristics such as age, health, culture, and experiences.
• Administering medications and procedures per policies, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participating in quality improvement and customer service initiatives.
• Supporting high reliability and I CARE values to improve care and outcomes.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Compressed/Flexible: Considered.

Telework: Not available.

Position Type: Full-time, not virtual.

Requirements: U.S. Citizenship, background check, vaccinations, etc.

Qualifications: Must meet education and licensure requirements, with detailed grade and experience criteria available.
