AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors.

You will set measurable goals, develop and implement individualized plans of care, monitor progress with the interdisciplinary team, and adjust as needed. This full-time, day-shift role includes benefits from day one and opportunities for professional growth within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations preferred.

Job Description:

Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect. Makes appropriate decisions and conducts interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs. Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care. Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed. Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data and interdisciplinary team notes.
