Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and education for patients and families.

You will collaborate closely with clinicians to deliver holistic care across the patient journey. Requires an active RN license and BLS CPR certification, with 1+ year of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Job Description
