CentraCare Health in St. Cloud seeks an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in the outpatient Infusion Center, including chemotherapy administration, biotherapy, and venous access management. This temporary role (~1 year) features full-time hours, no weekends or holidays, and a pay scale based on experience.

Responsabilidades

This individual will provide direct patient care in the outpatient Infusion Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: patient assessment, side effect management, administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusions and injections, central venous access management, assistance with patient cares, and management of a busy infusion schedule. Many responsibilities include working with physicians, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, and others.Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by obtaining/maintaining the Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider certification, attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

THIS POSITION IS TEMPORARY, INTENDED TO LAST ROUGHLY A YEAR

Schedule:

• Full-time | 64-72 hours per two weeks | St. Cloud
• Monday- Friday | 6:30am-5:30pm with 9-hour shifts
• No weekends or holidays!

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $44.57 per hour
  • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $46.11 per hour
  • Master’s in nursing starting at $47.65 per hour
  • Pay range: $44.57 - $74.37 per hour

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• BSN preferred but required within 3 years of hire.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
• National Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred.
• Obtain Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) Chemotherapy provider card within 6 months of hire.
• Current ONS provider card must be maintained at all times.
• A minimum of 1-year acute care experience preferred. Ambulatory or Oncology nursing experience preferred, including telephone triage, symptom management, and administration of chemotherapy and management of venous access devices. Demonstrates ability to effectively intervene with a patient in crisis, recognize abnormal lab results and other diagnostic testing results, skills with patient education.
