Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Alabama or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and unit competencies.
• Supervise and coordinate care; serve as charge nurse when assigned.
• Administer medications, including controlled substances, and blood products.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure infection control and safety standards.
• Document and communicate patient status with the healthcare team.
