Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is hiring a registered nurse for night shift. You will deliver professional nursing care, assess patient needs, plan and implement treatments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and NC RN licensure or compact state licensure. Effective communication and the ability to adapt to a busy inpatient setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact state license.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred for some units.
• Two years of acute care or Med‑Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following hospital policies and patient care plans.
• Assess and identify patient needs; plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor for adverse effects.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned and coordinate care with the team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality improvement.
• Float to other Med‑Surg units as needed and ensure patient safety.
