Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. This full-time days role provides opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality patient care on a 33-bed unit in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and administering care, and collaborating with physicians and staff. 3 years of clinical experience and NC RN licensure required; BLS certification required;

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with acute respiratory, cardiac, renal, neurological conditions, and pre/post procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient and identifies patient care needs.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Establishes collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with Health System staff.
• Monitors the quality of care based on pre-established outcome-oriented indicators.
• Performs charge nurse duties as assigned.
