Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) in Charleston, WV. You will work four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call duties and weekend coverage as described. Active state RN license and Cath Lab proficiency are required; RCIS is not accepted.

The role includes on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, and travel between facilities within a 100-mile radius may be needed with potential facility approval.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years as an RN with 1 year in Cath Lab procedures including Structural cases.
• Active state nursing license required; ARRT registration required; RCIS not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call duties.
• On-call coverage with 30-minute response time; weekend on-call schedule Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM.
• Travel between facilities within 75–99 miles may require facility approval.
• Guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.

Shift Details

Caseload and Experience

Average daily caseload per technician: 8-10 casesRequired experience: At least 2 years as an RN, with a minimum of 1 year demonstrating proficiency in all Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural casesNote: Candidates without prior Cath Lab nursing experience will not be considered

On-Call and Weekend Responsibilities

Weekend duty: On-call onlyOn-call response time: 30 minutesWeekend on-call schedule: Begins Friday at 7 PM and ends Monday at 7 AM, alternating between AM and PM shifts as primary and backup

Floating and Location

Floating: Not required; primary assignment is the Cath Lab unless otherwise needed by the facilityTravel radius: Up to 100 miles; travel between 75-99 miles may require facility approval

Licensing and Certifications

Pending state license: Application submission allowed with pending license, but an active license is required to startLicense requirements: Must hold an active state license and ARRT registrationImportant: RCIS certification is not accepted as a valid license for Cath Lab work in this state
