Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse for day shifts in Canton, Ohio. The role requires at least 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience and proficiency in circulating and documentation, with Epic EHR experience preferred.

You'll work four 10-hour days from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with on-call duties including every other weekend or two days per week, plus occasional holiday coverage. All listed requirements are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience, including circulating and documentation.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cath Lab nursing support, circulating and documentation.
• Complete orientation ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment.
• Be available for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Cath Lab Nurse Position

Shift Details

Day shift consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including on-call duties.

Experience Requirements

• At least 18 months of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Cath Lab experience.
• Proficiency in circulating and documentation is required.

Licensing and Certifications

• Must possess a permanent nursing license from Ohio or hold a compact state license.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Technical Skills

Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is necessary.

On-Call Requirements

• On-call every other weekend or possibly every third weekend, depending on staffing levels.
• If not assigned weekend call, on-call duty will be approximately two days per week.
• If assigned weekend call, one additional on-call day will be required during that week.
• The Nurse Manager will provide details about the on-call rotation and address questions during the phone screening.

Orientation Assessments

Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment is required during orientation, with passing scores necessary for continuation.

Holiday Work

Travel nurses must be available to work at least every other holiday.
