Job summary

Adoration Health in McDonough, GA is seeking a passionate Hospice RN to join our team. Our hospice RNs provide expert, patient-centered care at a critical time in people’s lives.

You will assess patient needs, create care plans, administer medications, manage symptoms, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license in GA.
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred (from the ad) if applicable.
• Hospice or similar setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans that align with patient wishes and goals.
• Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support the patient’s family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
