Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary: Provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional comfort and well-being of patients in facility or home settings. Uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, document care and teaching, and implement prescribed interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Accredited RN Program
  • Preferred Education: Associate Degree (2-year college or technical school)
  • Required License: Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing; Compact license may apply; BCLS certification
  • Preferred License: National Certification in area
  • Required Experience: 1 year
  • Preferred Experience: Prior facility or home care experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment
