Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes to ensure quality patient care.

Licensure in Georgia as a Registered Nurse is required, with CPR certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are expected within specified timelines depending on unit assignment.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or multistate license is required.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU where GI call is involved.
• NRP within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within 1 year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
• Supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.
