Job summary

The role requires leadership, strong assessment skills, and collaboration with LPNs, CNAs, and physicians. You will handle admissions, documentation, medication administration, and participate in policy discussion to improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Nursing experience and leadership abilities are expected.
• Competence in clinical assessment, care planning and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with LPNs and CNAs and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and interpret nursing practice standards.
• Perform assessments and interventions per guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary committees shaping nursing policy.
• Follow admission/transfer procedures and documentation.
• Supervise shifts and ensure medication administration and reporting.
• Coordinate MDS schedules and related documentation.
• Develop and revise resident care plans.
• Ensure compliance with nursing regulations and supply levels.
