Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South is seeking an RN to oversee nursing staff on shift, ensuring quality, safe, and continuous patient care. You will apply the nursing process to assessments, planning, and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Active RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be needed depending on unit. This regular full-time role includes weekend and holiday coverage and belongs to a dynamic hospital team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
