Baptist South is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a progressive environment. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while coordinating with support staff and ancillary services to meet patient needs.

Educating patients and families about disease processes and care plans is essential, as is acting as a patient advocate for medical and surgical conditions. A minimum of 5 years in progressive care is required.

Formación

• AS or BS in Nursing is required.
• 5+ years of progressive care experience.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide for patient needs via the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organize and supervise care by supportive personnel; coordinate ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educate patients and families about disease process and plan of care.
• Serve as patient advocate and provide care for medical/surgical conditions.
