What you need to know about this position:

1. Our Operating Room features 12 + 1 rooms conducting over 7,000 surgeries annually, including bariatric, gynecology, orthopedic, and cardiovascular procedures. Our surgical team is dedicated to providing a comfortable and positive experience for patients and their families.
2. This role supports the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
3. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering and coordinating evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, achieve outcomes, and improve operational efficiency.
4. Hourly base rate starts at $30.40, commensurate with experience, with potential shift differentials and holiday premiums.
5. The schedule is 3 days of 12-hour shifts (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 36 hours/week (full-time). The position includes a call requirement up to 50% in a 6-week cycle, with a 1-hour response time for CV and 45 minutes for PV, including holiday rotation. The RN may also float to general OR as needed.
6. Minimum 2 years of independent circulating experience in the Operating Room.
7. Benefit eligibility requires at least 16 hours per week.

Minimum requirements for this position:

1. Must have upon hire:
   • Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
   • Indiana RN License or Multi-State License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
2. Within 30 days of hire, you must obtain:
   • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
3. Within 6 months of hire, you must obtain:
   • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
4. This role involves frequent standing, walking, talking, listening, and lifting/moving over 50 lbs.
