Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, safe patient care during surgical procedures, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role involves patient assessment, planning, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring compliant documentation in a fast-paced operating room environment, with a 40-hour workweek that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Colorado RN license or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification; 1 year cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.

Job description

Role:

The Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe patient care during surgical procedures, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, assist in surgeries, and ensure compliance with documentation and care guidelines.

Qualifications:

• BSN from an accredited program, current Colorado RN license or eligible for licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.

Skills & Duties:

• Recognize patient needs, communicate effectively, manipulate delicate equipment, assist with patient transfers, and navigate busy clinical environments.

Work Environment:

Operating Room, with a 40-hour workweek, variable days, including some nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting, walking, standing, and manual dexterity.
