Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) team on the night shift. This 34-bed unit cares for patients after open heart surgery and complex cardiovascular procedures with compassionate, expert nursing.

Ideal candidates hold an ASN (BSN preferred), an Indiana RN license, and BLS. You will collaborate with top clinicians and participate in a culture that supports learning and professional growth.

Formación

• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Care for post open heart surgery patients on a 34-bed CVCC unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for cardiovascular care.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing.

Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) is hiring for one .9FTE RN on night shift.

The CVCC nurses treat patients with compassion, care, and clinical excellence. On this 34-bed unit, CVCC nurses primarily care for patients post open heart surgery, CABG, valve and aortic aneurysm repair, heart, and lung transplant, VADs, peripheral vascular surgeries, and ECMO. CVCC houses the only lung transplant program in the state!

• Approximately 30% of CVCC nurses are certified

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
