Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse to execute the nursing process, perform assessments, plan and implement patient care, and administer prescribed treatments. You will ensure accurate documentation and contribute to patient education and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, responding to telephone triage, and maintaining standards of care across hospital and ambulatory settings.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify per department guidelines
Licensed as an RN in state of practice
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
Other certification or certifications per unit requirements. For example: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP
May include color blind test per department guidelines
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supervises nursing support staff as appropriate
