Job summary

The Registered Nurse at Premier Cardiovascular Institute: MVH provides assessment, planning, intervention, coordination, and evaluation of patient care in an ambulatory setting.

You will work full-time days, with 80 hours per pay, and collaborate with physicians and management while maintaining HIPAA and EPIC EMR proficiency. CPR is required within 3 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a licensed nursing program.
• Maintains current nursing license in the State of Ohio with completion of CNE requirements.
• Ambulatory health care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR strongly preferred.
• CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment; HIPAA knowledge.

The Registered Nurse performs assessment, planning, intervention, coordination, and evaluation of patient care.

Nature and Scope

The Registered Nurse functions independently within the limits of his/her license and training while contributing to the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a licensed nursing program.
• Maintains current nursing license in the State of Ohio with completion of CNE requirements.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
• CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
