Job summary

Endeavor Health in Bannockburn, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Group to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and physicians.

You will perform phone triage, manage test results and medication refills, coordinate prior authorizations, and educate patients. Epic charting and care coordination are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• NLN accredited nursing program completed; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Phone triage, test results, med refills, prior authorizations, and patient education.
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients.
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group
• Location: Bannockburn, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based on department need

What you will do:

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
