Job summary

Texas Health Huguley is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our care team in a full-time capacity. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, medication administration and coordination with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Candidates will have an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), current RN license, and experience in critical care.

Qualifications

• RN required and licensed
• Critical care experience preferred in unit setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Cerner/EPIC)
• Strong communication, teamwork and clinical skills
• Ability to perform accurate documentation and data entry
• Experience with EKG interpretation preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data collection
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments

• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed

Job Description

7:00am - 7:00pm (3 shifts per week)

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
