Job summary

Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) in a critical care setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include TX RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with preferred CCU experience. Proficiency with EMR systems and strong teamwork are essential for high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

7:00pm - 7:00am (3 shifts per week)

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
