Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed cardiac care unit. You will provide individualized, high-quality care, perform assessments, and implement care plans within an interdisciplinary team.
The role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring, infusion titration for complex cardiac therapies, and adherence to critical care protocols including DKA/HHS management and CIWA protocols. WA RN license required.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
This 24 bed Unit houses patients being admitted for cardiac thoracic and vascular care. This unit also entails PCU levels of care. Staffing is 1-3:4.
Provides continuous cardiac monitoring arrhythmia recognition and intervention.
Initiates and titrates multiple complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.
Initiates and titrates drips related to critical care DKA/HHS algorithms.
Use of phenobarbital for CIWA patients
