Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Cardiac Surgical IMC Registered Nurse to provide post-operative care for cardiac and thoracic patients in a fast-paced intermediate care unit.

You will monitor hemodynamics, manage chest tubes and IVs, document in the EHR, and collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and ancillary teams while mentoring newer staff and contributing to quality improvement and patient-centered safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with competency in intermediate care and post-operative cardiac/thoracic monitoring.
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment/response skills.
• Proficiency managing complex devices and wound/chest tube care.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities
